Rick Smith Golf Academy
During my five years as a Golf Professional
at Treetops Resort, in Gaylord, Michigan, I observed
and assisted Master PGA Teaching Professional,
Rick Smith, with his Rick Smith Golf Academy.
Along with having adopted many of Rick Smith's
teaching techniques and philosophies, I have also assisted
Rick with a number of corporate/clinic outings, including
that of Ford Motor Company.

Rick Smith |
 
Rick
Smith is one of the premier names in golf instruction and
course design today! Smith has numerous instructional shows
that air on The Golf Channel, as well. Smith's past and present
list of PGA Tour students includes: Jack Nicklaus -- perhaps
the greatest player ever, two-time U.S. Open Champion Lee
Janzen, 2000 Buick Open Champion Rocco Mediate, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh,
Greg Norman, Jerry Kelly
and many, many others. He has established the "Rick Smith
Golf Academy" at several prestigious golf facilities
across the United States. He has also designed numerous award-winning courses,
including his "Signature" course at Treetops
Resort in Gaylord, Michigan. He is one of GOLF Magazine's
"Top 100 Teachers" in the country, and is also one of Golf Digest's "Top 50 Teachers" in the
country, as well.
Rick also has a fabulous best-selling book
entitled, "How to find your perfect golf swing".

Buick Open
 |
Multiple
times at the Buick Open (an annual PGA
Tour event held at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in
Grand Blanc, Michigan), I was hired by the staff of Buick
Motor Division to give free golf lessons to any spectator
at the Buick Open. Each time that I was hired by Buick, upwards of 100 spectators a day came through the
special "Buick lesson area" set up on the grounds of Warwick
Hills, to take a free video lesson with me! It was a tremendous
opportunity to meet hundreds of excited Michigan golfers! |

I
conducted many Adult and Junior Clinics at Mulligan's Golf
Center, in Auburn Hills, Michigan -- where I
taught year-round for nearly 10 years (1999-2008).

swing analysis is available, and highly recommended!
I use The NEAT System Motion Analysis software that
is used to help analyze your swing, frame-by-frame.
This is one of the most useful teaching tools
available to improve your golf swing!

I have the greatest family anybody
could ever ask for! My immediate family
includes my mom and her husband, Theresa & Gerry
Grzadzinski (Gerry is a retired senior engineer from Chrysler); my dad and his wife, Joe &
Stephanie Menzies (my dad is a retired senior
engineer from General Motors); my younger sister and her husband,
Laura &
Marc Kaszubski; and my youngest sister and her
husband,
Cathy
& Brian Francek. (My sisters and I are shown on
the left). |

Shown here next to me is my
beautiful fiancée, Cat Dacpano. She means the world
to me! She is truly my soul-mate and my best friend! She makes me so incredibly happy! She and I have
been happily together since February, 2004, and we
will be getting married on June 7, 2008! Cat
is a University of Michigan graduate who works
full-time as a Sales Administrator for an automotive
company. However, her true talents are singing and
playing piano for weddings/receptions/parties and
other events. Cat has also sung The National Anthem
for the Detroit Pistons and the Detroit Shock at The
Palace of Auburn Hills! Additionally, she also does petite
modeling, which has included various
promotions for well-known companies such
