Mike Compton, a former offensive
guard/center, spent 13 years playing for 3
different teams in the NFL. He was
drafted in 1993 (68th
pick overall), and played center at West
Virginia. He was the starting left
guard for the Detroit Lions from 1996 to
1998 -- and he was on the field for every
offensive play in 1998. Compton
occasionally served as the snapper for extra
points during his career, as well.
Compton's greatest career accomplishment was winning the 2001
Superbowl while playing for the New England Patriots!
