Mike Compton Mike Compton, a former offensive guard/center, spent 13 years playing for 3 different teams in the NFL.  He was drafted in 1993 (68th pick overall), and played center at West Virginia.  He was the starting left guard for the Detroit Lions from 1996 to 1998 -- and he was on the field for every offensive play in 1998.  Compton occasionally served as the snapper for extra points during his career, as well.

Compton's greatest career accomplishment was winning the 2001 Superbowl while playing for the New England Patriots!
