FINAL BITS:
Backup guard Carlos Arroyo of the Pistons isn't a power forward, but
he's trying to become a power golfer.
Arroyo, a novice golfer, hit some balls last week at Mulligan's Golf
Dome, just a Driver/5-iron from The Palace. He got professional advice
from PGA instructor Bob Menzies and bought Nike clubs and a bag. Arroyo
lives in Miami, where the golf season is whenever you feel like playing.
It's a good thing Arroyo is taking the proper first steps and seeking
professional help or else his golf swing might end up looking like
Charles Barkley's. And there's another good thing about golf. No
defense.
